MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Leah Williams is a multi-skilled journalist at ABC24 and CW30. She joined the team in November of 2023.
Leah hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is no stranger to the Mid-South community, having worked for WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi, as a reporter since 2021. Leah was on hand during the water crisis in Jackson in the summer of 2022, holding political leaders accountable and getting answers to residents' top questions about the crisis.
Leah discovered her passion for journalism and storytelling during her time at Southern University in Baton Rouge, taking her skills to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 2019, working for KRQE-TV as a producer.
Leah is passionate about being a part of community change through journalism, getting answers to tough questions and meeting those impacted by real problems, aiming to seek solutions for them.
Leah enjoys freelance photography, is a life-long volleyball player and is very excited to give the Memphis food scene a try.
