MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Amuse Adventure Museum officially opens its doors to the public Friday after receiving tons of excitement about it on social media.
“I hate when people say there’s nothing to do in Memphis, there’s so much to do in Memphis,” part owner Keith Edwards said.
Edwards says the new attraction is a kid's paradise. The social gaming facility is filled with 35 different interactive games and challenges that can be played by two to seven people at a time.
After finding success in with two Memphis Escape room locations, they had the idea from something bigger and they wanted to build it in Memphis. This new venture gives Edwards and his ownership partners a chance to expand.
“I love Memphis. I love the people in Memphis, the restaurants in Memphis and the culture. This is my city, so if we were going to do anything to better any city, it was going to be Memphis,” Edwards said.
Each room has its own theme, games and objectives. With pricing options based on the amount of time you decide to stay, Edwards says there’s enough to keep you busy for hours.
“There were some nerves and tense moments for sure but we never lost excitement about the idea. It’s been a really long process, but it’s also been really rewarding,” he said.
The Amuse Adventure Museum is located at 3115 Walnut Grove Road. The musesum is looking to hire about 10 open positions. Anyone interested in applying can email them at management@theadventuremuseum.com.
