MEMPHIS, Tenn. — 2024 is approaching, and several events are taking place across Memphis to celebrate the new year! Here's what's going down in the Bluff City on Dec. 31.
1. New Year's Eve on Beale
Ghost River Brewery and People's on Beale are hosting a "New Year's Eve Extravaganza" on Beale Street at 6 p.m. The event will feature live performances from Al Kapone, Corey Lou and Da Village and more. According to Beale Street's official website, you can plan to ring in the new year with fireworks and confetti cannons as the clock strikes midnight. This event is only for those 21 and older. It is free to attend, but you can buy a $100 fast pass to skip lines and waive covers, bypassing the line onto Beale Street and getting free admission to over a dozen clubs on Beale.
2. NYE on South Main
The event page for NYE on South Main describes the night as full of "incredible live performances and celebratory cocktails as you journey from one eclectic bar to another all night long." This event will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until midnight. This celebration is only for those 21 and older, and tickets are $40 a person.
3. Peabody New Year's Eve Party
This event will feature live performances from Seeing Red, Southbound and DJ A.D. It will begin at 8 p.m. and end at 2 a.m. General Admission tickets purchased on or before December 30 are $65 per person, while tickets are $75 per person at the door. Those interested can also purchase VIP tickets, which will grant them access to the exclusive VIP Lounge with party favors, an appetizer buffet, champagne and valet parking. 4. Railgarten New Year's Eve Party
This family-friendly event will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Participants can expect a balloon drop, magic show, kids buffet and more! Tickets are $25 each, and they can be purchased here.
5. Bardog Tavern 2024 NYE Bash
Bardog Tavern is hosting a fun-filled, all-inclusive celebration to ring in the new year. The event will have an open bar, premium food buffet, including prime rib, filet mignon and shrimp cocktails, and more. Formal cocktail attire is encouraged. It will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 1:30 a.m. Tickets are $150 each, and there is a limited capacity. For more information, click here.
6. Gimme Gimme Disco: The NYE 2024 Disco Ball at Growlers
This 18-and-older disco night event will take place at Growlers. Dance the night away with hits from ABBA, The Bee Gees, Donna Summer and Cher! Disco attire is encouraged. The doors will open at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $15, and can be found here.
7. Rooftop Rendezvous: Ring in 2024 with Sky-High Elegance
This event is for those looking to ring in the new year in style at Beck & Call, the rooftop lounge located at the Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis. The night will feature live music, dancing, cocktails and much more! All attendees are asked to wear formal attire. The event is for those 21 and older and will take place from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets begin at $99, and they can be found here.
8. New Year's Eve Celebration Featuring Lafayette's Music Room and Aquanet
The New Year's Eve celebration at the historic Lafayette's Music Room will feature music by Memphis Soul Remedy at 6 p.m. and Aquanet at 10 p.m. VIP packages are $100 for one person, and $175 for two people. Doors open at 5 p.m. with Vegas-style seating. There will be a selection of butler-passed hors d' oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight and party favors.The event is for those 21 and older. 9. Marcus Scott New Years Eve Soul Celebration - Railgarten
This event will go from 8 p.m. to midnight. Expect a champagne toast at midnight and a balloon drop to follow. General Admission tickets are $60 and do not include a buffet, while General Admission PLUS Buffet tickets are $75. The night will continue after the ball drops with a performance by MONONEON.
