MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – The zombie apocalypse came to downtown Memphis Friday for the 13th annual Memphis Zombie Walk,
Hundreds of people dressed up as zombies and marched through the streets. They began at Handy Park on Beale, headed to G.E. Patterson Park, then headed back to Beale Street.
Folks came already dressed up, or joined in to the fun by duct-taping an “X” on their shirt, signaling they were okay to be “attacked” by the horde.
The zombie walk is all in fun, and for a good cause. Organizers accepted donations for the Mid-South Food Bank.
