MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Ronald McDonald House of Memphis and 98.1 The Max held theirradiothon Friday. Local 24 Weeknight Anchor Katina Rankin was a guest celebritythat answered phones and took donations for the Ronald McDonald House.
Ronald McDonald House offers children with pediatric cancer andother catastrophic illnesses – who are undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children’sResearch Hospital – and their families a nurturing, family-centered residentialcommunity.
And it’s free of charge.
“We have such a fun house and a great experience with ourchildren. And we try to make every day special. We do a lot of activities withour families and the radiothon makes it all possible,” said Jill Crocker, the ExecutiveDirector of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis.
