MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Dr. Cathy Pope has resigned as President and CEO of the Mid-South Food Bank, the non-profit announced Monday.
Dr. Pope has been leading the organization since 2019. Her last day will be in early December.
The Board of Directors appointed Chief Operating Officer Scott Fortin to serve as Interim President and CEO. Fortin has been with the Food Bank since 2019.
“Under Fortin’s leadership and that of the dedicated management team, the organization will continue to pursue its essential mission of eliminating hunger in the Mid-South region,” said the Food Bank in a statement.
