MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A restaurant in the Broad Avenue Arts District has closed its doors after 10 years.
Owners of Bounty on Broad announced on social media Wednesday, April 3, 2024, that the restaurant had closed its doors, effective immediately. The post did not give a reason for the closure.
Neighboring business owners said Bounty on Broad was an institution in Memphis for a decade, especially when it comes to their gluten-free menu.
Victory Bicycle Studio Owner Clark Butcher said the spot was one of his and his wife’s favorites and the traffic Bounty would bring in was good for all surrounding shops.
“I can only think that if we had more restaurants on the street, Bounty would be thriving in all this and providing a great product and a great service,” Butcher said.
Memphis artist Mosal Morszart said he has displayed his paintings inside the restaurant for about two years but must now move elsewhere.
