MLGW & TVA offer incentive to help Memphis small businesses upgrade lighting

According to MLGW President and CEO Doug McGowen, by 2026, customers will be paying an additional $15 per month for their utilities.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Light Gas and Water (MLGW) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) have joined forces to help light the way for small businesses in the Mid-South.

Small business may be eligible to receive an incentive to cover up to 70% of cost to upgrade to energy-efficient LED lighting, through the TVA EnergyRight Small Business Lighting Replacement program.

The program includes a free on-site lighting assessment performed by an expert energy advisor.

Businesses owners should fill out the form provided by MLGW HERE to find out if they qualify.

MLGW and TVA EnergyRight also offer more programs for small businesses, including: energy efficiency incentives and energy savings training.
