Pay off citations for half the cost | City of Memphis amnesty period ends June 30

The Memphis City Council said having people pay those citations, even at a reduced rate, will help push back against a proposed tax increase.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Anyone who needs to pay an outstanding citation, the City of Memphis is offering an amnesty period to allow payment at a reduced cost.

Until June 30, 2024, people with outstanding citations, whether for a traffic ticket or other citation, can clear it out for half price.

In a video released to social media, the Memphis City Council said having people pay those citations, even at a reduced rate, will help push back against a proposed tax increase.

To pay citations, visit online at https://epayments.memphistn.gov/traffic/, or call the City Court Clerk at 901-636-3400 or visit them at 201 Poplar LL-80.
