MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Memphis is offering an information session Friday for homeowners about tax relief programs.

The event is meant to help seniors, those who are disabled, and veterans or their widows with the range of taxpayer programs available to help them.

The Shelby County Register of Deeds office will also provide information on its Fraud Alert Program, which helps homeowners identify fraudsters trying to steal homes using processes such as ‘quitclaim deeds.’

The session is Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library in Conference Room C. The library is located at 3030 Poplar Ave.
