MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An Olive Branch, Mississippi, company is laying off 147 workers, according to a WARN Notice filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
View Operating Corporation (View) is located on Kirk Rd. in Olive Branch. The company said in the notice that the permanent layoffs were effective Oct. 3, 2024.
The company’s notice said while it is located in Mississippi, 69 of the 147 workers affected are Tennessee residents. Company leaders said the workers are not represented by a union and do not have bumping rights.
The Greater Memphis Chamber was notified so it could help affected employees. The Greater Memphis Local Workforce Development Board will coordinate the Rapid Response and Dislocated Worker services.
