MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Someone in the Memphis area is $50,000 richer after Monday night’s lottery drawing.
Tennessee Lottery officials said a Memphis player won $50,000 in the Powerball Double Play drawing. The player matched four of the five balls plus the Powerball. The Double Play drawing is held after the Powerball drawing.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at the Circle K in the 8000 block of Winchester Rd.
The winning Powerball Double Play numbers for Nov. 18, 2024, were: 2, 6, 24, 36, 43, and Powerball 13.
Here’s how the Double Play works:
- For an extra $1 per play, players use the same set of the numbers for the main drawing and then the Double Play drawing.
- Tickets with the Double Play add-on are eligible to win in both drawings.
The current estimated jackpot in the main Powerball drawing stands at $155 million.
