MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Monday, February 1st is National Unclaimed Property Day.

And Mid-South state treasurers say there are millions of dollars in unclaimed money out there. Much of the money has gone unclaimed for more than 5 years, things link an energy bill refund that went to a wrong address, or an inheritance you don’t know about.

So how can you check for unclaimed money?
