MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is giving homeowners around West Tennessee the chance to save money on winterizing their home ahead of colder temperatures.
The TVA is offering up to $500 in rebates for insulation work on homes from their list of TVA-approved contractors.
The rebates are a part of TVA's Energy Right program, and TVA said homeowners can save further money by keeping their homes energy efficient during winter with proper insulation.
To qualify for the rebate, homeowners need to find a contractor through TVA's approved list and complete the work, when the contractor will send rebate information to TVA.
TVA did not say how long it would take to claim the rebate.
