MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police confirmed a 4-year-old is dead after drowning at a hotel in Cordova on Thursday, June 27.
The original call came out just after midnight, and the Memphis Police Department responded to the Comfort Suites located at 2427 Germantown Parkway regarding a medical call indicating that a 4-year-old girl had fallen into a swimming pool.
ABC24 crews saw the Memphis Fire Department leaving with the toddler in an ambulance to be taken to the hospital.
The 4-year-old was then pronounced dead.
Memphis police said the investigation is ongoing.
