Amy Speropoulos hosts “Local Memphis Live” weekdays at 9am on Local 24.
The Mid-South will recognize Amy from her days of reporting and anchoring at both WMC-TV and WREG-TV in Memphis. She began her broadcasting career at WCFT-TV in Tuscaloosa, AL. Amy has received numerous Emmy® nominations including a win for News Excellence. She also has received an Edward R. Murrow® Award for Best Newscast.
Each day on “Local Memphis Live” Amy is joined by a special co-host including local celebrities, musicians, radio personalities, actors, etc. She will also bring you yummy recipes from local chefs, music from local artists, highlights on what’s happening around the Mid-South and will introduce you to a variety of local businesses.
Amy is involved in numerous community programs including the YMCA in Collierville, the Collierville Chamber of Commerce, Musicians for LeBonhuer, the Mid-South Humane Society, Memphis Athletic Ministries and many more. Her and her husband have three children. Send Amy an emai.
