MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity celebrated its 114th Founder's Day Friday.
The fraternity is the oldest Black Greek lettered organization in the country, and they have been a staple in the Memphis community since June 1930.
The local graduate chapter Alpha Delta Lambda blew out the candles by giving back.
They hosted a school supply giveaway for students at the Southern Avenue Charter Elementary School.
More than 100 kids all got free supplies.
