It’s called an imposter scam, and the Better Business Bureau ofthe Mid-South says they receive complaints about it nearly every day.
The robocall offers to connect you with someone to clear up theproblem, who will then ask for money, often in the form of gift cards.
Don’t fall for it. Your social security number cannot besuspended, revoked, frozen, or blocked.
