The living founders were honored during a Memphis Tigers homecoming game.

MEMPHIS, Tenn — The Epsilon Kappa chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority at the University of Memphis is celebrating six decades of sisterhood and service.

During Saturday's Memphis Tigers Homecoming game, the living founders of the University of Memphis' chapter, founded in the early 1960s, were honored on the field during the third quarter.

The founders received a key to the city, and from this group of founders came longtime educators in the Memphis City School system and the first Black woman executive at FedEx.
