MEMPHIS, Tenn. — What do you want to be included in the soon-to-be new Gaisman Community Center?
In January, during his State of the City address, Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland announced plans for $75 million to be allocated for neighborhood improvements. Building an entirely new Gaisman Community Center for $8 million was a part of that plan.
You have a chance to tell the city of Memphis your ideas at a community meeting this Monday at 5:30pm at the center at 4221 Macon in Berclair.
