MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is injured after a shooting happened early Wednesday morning in Raleigh.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting July 31 just before 4 a.m. on Longmont Cove. Police said officers had been patrolling in the area when they heard multiple gunshots and then found a large crowd at a home yelling for help.
Someone then emerged from the back of the home, carrying a man who had been shot in each of his legs. He was taken to a hospital in non-critical condition.
People at the scene said they did not see the shooting occur nor knew what happened. Officers searched the area, but could not find a crime scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
