MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – UPDATE 1/7/2019 – Memphis Police have released a picture of a person of interest in a shooting at the end of last year that injured a 10-year-old boy.
Police say the possible suspect was driving a gray late-model Chrysler Pacifica.
Anyone who knows who the person is, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

12/30/2019 – Memphis Police are searching for whoever shot a 10-year-old boy as he and his mom were leaving a party Sunday night.
Police say it happened just before 10:30 p.m. Investigators saythe mother called police from Methodist North, where she rushed her son afterhe was shot as they were leaving a party.
The mother told police they were at Blue Ice on Coleman Road for ateen’s party, and as they were in her car leaving, she heard 2 to 3 gunshots,but did not know where they were coming from. She told police there had been agroup of juveniles arguing outside before the gunfire.
The mother told police after the shots, her son yelled out fromthe back seat that he had been hit, so she “freaked out” and drove straight toMethodist North. The boy was then airlifted to Le Bonheur in criticalcondition, but is now non-critical.
Police say the suspects may have been in an older model silverChrysler SUV. No one has been arrested.
