Reward up to $150,000 offered after mail carrier robbed at Memphis apartment complex

Investigators said the robbery happened about 12:10 p.m. Dec. 2, 2024, inside the Landing Apartments in the 6700 block of Landing Way, near Winchester Rd.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is offering a reward of up to $150,000 after a mail carrier was robbed Monday near Hickory Hill.

Investigators said the robbery happened about 12:10 p.m. Dec. 2, 2024, inside the Landing Apartments in the 6700 block of Landing Way, near Winchester Rd.

USPIS officials said the suspect was armed and the carrier was not injured.

Investigators said the suspect was 20 to 28 years-old, between 5’7” and 5’10” tall, and about 220 to 230 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie, black skull cap, black jeans, black ski mask, and block-framed eyeglasses. Investigators said he was driving a blue 1019-2023 Nissan Altima.
