MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting happened Monday morning in North Memphis.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to the shooting around 7 a.m. in the 700 block of North Dunlap Street, where officers found one man injured with an apparent gunshot wound.
He was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition, but later became stable, MPD said.
While checking the area of the shooting incident, officers were sent a street over to the 700 block of Leath Street, where two more people were found with apparent gunshot wounds.
Both were pronounced dead.
There is no information about a suspect as of yet. The investigation is ongoing.
