SOUTHAVEN, Miss — Three people are injured after a shooting took place Sunday in Southaven.
Officers with the Southaven Police Department responded to the shooting Oct. 6 call in the 2900 block of South Cherry Drive and found one person suffering from two gunshot wounds. First responders took him to Baptist DeSoto.
While police were investigating the shooting scene, they learned two more people arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds and determined they were also victims of the same shooting.
Investigators said charges have not been filed as of yet, and an investigation is still underway.
