8-year-old shot in Northaven; SCSO investigating

The child was inside the home, the bullet came from outside.

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — An 8-year-old is recovering after being shot Sunday night while inside the home.

According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on Fox Valley Drive in Northaven.

The child was inside the home, the bullet came from outside.

The child is in stable condition at Le Bonheur.
