MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said Tuesday morning a 14-year-old boy is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder after an 8-year-old was stabbed late Monday night.
Memphis Police department said that they responded to the incident about 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 4300 block of Leclaire. When officers arrived, the 8-year-old victim was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Investigators said a second victim was injured but did not require treatment at the hospital.
MPD said in a tweet that the teenage suspect was detained at the scene. This is an ongoing investigation.
