MEMPHIS, Tenn. — After continuing the search early Saturday, Memphis Police Department officials said they have found a body matching the description of the missing man.
"At 10:10 a.m., the body of a male who matched the missing man's description was located and recovered," MPD officials said in a release. "Our hearts go out to his family as they navigate this difficult time."
Memphis Police Assistant Chief Don Crowe said Friday a boat capsized on the Wolf River Harbor, sending two people into the water. One person was pulled from the river Friday and sent to the hospital in non-critical condition.
The search was called off for the night late Friday and continued at 7 a.m. Saturday.
The missing man was identified as 47-year-old Gary Riley from Millington by his fiancé to ABC24 reporters on Friday.
