MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Thieves broke into a GameStop in Midtown early Thursday morning, stealing a gaming system worth about $500.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the burglary Dec. 28, 2023, around 2:30 a.m. at 1680 Union Avenue, where they saw broken glass and a smashed metal gate at the store’s entrance.
Inside, they saw merchandise scattered across the floor. There were also tire marks on the floor, consistent with a vehicle having rammed into the entrance for access, police said.
A PS5 valued at about $500 was stolen.
The suspects were unknown.
