MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man faces serious injuries after a shooting stemmed from an argument at Chelsea Car Wash near Chelsea Avenue early Monday morning.
According to a Memphis Police report from the scene, officers responded to the Chelsea Car Wash at 1378 May Street around 1 a.m. Monday to a shooting call.
Officers found a man behind the car wash with gunshot wounds and a head injury. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Officers then found bullet casings in one of the car wash stalls. According to the report, the person who called in the shooting said her brother got into an argument with a man when her brother shot him, before running from the scene.
Before police could identify her or her brother, she left the scene. The police report said the suspect ran from the scene wearing a dark blue hoodie and black pants.
