MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said a student brought a gun to Chimneyrock Elementary on Monday, Sept. 23.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department said they responded to 8601 Chimneyrock Blvd. around 12:45 p.m. "regarding a student detained and a gun located."
Police officers did not clarify if they were the ones who detained the student and said the situation is still under investigation.
