Crooks caught on camera breaking into midtown Family Dollar store

Memphis Police are hoping someone knows who the two suspects are who stole nearly a grand in cigarettes and electronics.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for two men who were caught on camera breaking into a Family Dollar store in midtown.

Investigators said the two suspects broke into the Family Dollar in the 100 block of Avalon Sunday, December 19, 2021. The video shows two men breaking the glass out of the side door, then going inside.

Police said the suspects stole about $900 worth of cigarettes and electronics.

Burglary Business Family Dollar 142 Avalon Report #2112007956ME MEMPHIS, TN –. On Sunday, December 19th, 2021, the Family Dollar located at 142 Avalon was burglarized. Two males broke the glass out of the west side entry/exit door with an unknown object, entered the business, and took approximately $900.00 worth of cigarettes and electronics. Although the incident was captured on video surveillance, the identity of the suspects is unknown at this time. Investigators need your help in identifying the individuals responsible.
