MEMPHIS, Tennessee — A man is fighting for his life after being shot on an East Memphis highway in broad daylight Wednesday morning, Memphis Police said.
At 10:57 a.m. Wednesday, Memphis Police said their officers responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Poplar Avenue, near the shopping center at Mendenhall and Poplar.
A man was found with gunshot wounds, and said he was shot on Highway 385 near I-240, then drove to the shopping center. He was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
