MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were injured in a shooting that happened Monday night in East Memphis.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Jan. 8 just before 8:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of McDuff Avenue, where officers found a woman seriously hurt. She was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition.
A man was also taken to a hospital in non-critical condition.
Police said preliminary information indicated that the suspect, who escaped the scene, was known.
