Memphis Police release video of suspects in deadly shooting at Exxon on Union Avenue

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have released video of the suspects in a deadly shooting at the Exxon in the Medical District Saturday.

MPD officers said they responded to the shooting about 11:15 p.m. on March 9, 2024, at the Exxon in the 1000 block of Union Ave. 

Officers found one man, identified as Leejunior Thacker, dead at the scene. Investigators said the two suspects left the scene in a gray Chevy Malibu.

Homicide 1003 Union Avenue | Exxon Report # 2403023589ME MEMPHIS, TN - On Saturday, March 9, 2024, at approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at the Exxon at 1003 Union Avenue, where two suspects shot and killed Leejunior Thacker on the lot. The suspects left the scene in a gray Chevy Malibu. The incident was captured on video (attached below). Investigators need your help in identifying the suspects in the video. This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
