Four injured after stolen car crashes on Thousand Oaks and American Way

MPD says suspects crashed the car after trying to evade police.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four people, including three suspects, are injured after a car crash on Thousand Oaks and American way on Thursday.

Police said suspects crashed a car into another car after trying to evade police.

According to the Memphis Police Department, at 4:32 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, officers found a stolen Lexus in the 2700 block of Perkins.

When police approached the car, MPD said that although stop sticks were deployed, the car drove away.

Later, officers saw the car on Thousand Oaks and American Way. MPD says the car crashed into another car.

MPD said the driver of the car that was hit is expected to be okay.

As for the suspects, police said two are in critical condition, while the other is expected to be okay. They were all taken to Regional One.

MPD said no charges have been filed.
