MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Germantown man faces federal charges, accused in two arson incidents in the city.

Germantown Police said Richard Sniezak, 20, was arrested Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, during a traffic stop.

GPD said a federal warrant was issued late last week after Sniezak was indicted in two arsons on April 5 and April 13, 2024, one in the 7600 block of Wolf River Circle and the other in the 1300 block of Cordova Cove. Investigators said the fires caused “significant property damage and threatened public safety.”
