MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said one man is charged after a deadly domestic shooting in Whitehaven.
Memphis Police officers responded to the shooting Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, around 12:30 a.m. in the 4700 block of Haven Court, near Tulane Road. They said they found one man dead at the scene, and an injured woman and man were taken to Regional One Health in critical condition.
MPD later said the man taken to the hospital, who was determined to be the suspect, died from his injuries.
Jamarus Wilson, who was also on the scene, was charged with tampering with/fabricating evidence. He is in the Shelby County Jail without bond.
Investigators said preliminary information indicates the shooting was related to domestic violence.
