MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Human remains were found Thursday night in South Memphis, and investigators are now working to identify the person.
The Memphis Police Department found the remains Aug. 15, 2024, around 9 p.m. in the area of Airways Boulevard and Pecan Circle while looking into an unrelated incident.
The remains were taken to a medical examiner as police work to uncover the person's identity and the cause of death.
