MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said a woman has died after a shooting in the Hyde Park area on Oct. 16, 2024, that left two others injured.
MPD officers said they first responded to a shooting about 8 p.m. in the 2200 block of Eldridge. They found one man shot, and he was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
About 15 minutes later, officers responded to a call about two more victims in the 3100 block of Jackson Ave. A man and woman were taken to the hospital in critical condition, and police said the woman died from her injuries that evening.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or released any information on suspects.
