MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A juvenile is in the hospital after getting shot Friday afternoon in Whitehaven, and police are searching for a suspect.
Memphis Police officers responded to the shooting Nov. 1 just before 4:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of Santa Monica Street, where they found a juvenile boy injured.
He was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in non-critical condition.
Investigators said police are checking the area for suspects, but no one has been detained as of yet. An investigation is ongoing.
