MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men that have not been caught pointed guns at a Kroger employee after they tried to take food from the store, according to Memphis Police.
Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers said they responded on June 27 around 8 p.m. to 799 Truse Parkway. Officers were told an employee of the Kroger there encountered the two men as they were trying to shoplift food items.
The men discarded the items but then pulled out guns from their waistbands, according to MPD. The took turns pointing the weapons in the face of the employee and threatened to kill him, according to MPD.
Then, these men left the scene. No shots were fired, according to MPD.
No arrest has been made and this is an ongoing investigation, according to MPD.
