MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – A man arrested in connection to an armed robbery that led to last month’s unrest in Frayser soon will be taken to Mississippi to face charges.
Andre Morris made his first appearance in a Memphiscourt Monday morning. He was arrested Friday.
Authorities say Morris helped steal a car in DeSotoCounty, Mississippi.
U.S. Marshals shot and killed another suspect, Brandon Webber, while trying to arrest him last month. That killing sparked unrest.
Morris, 22, is the son of Shelby County School Board member Stephanie Love.
