MEMPHIS, Tenn. — First responders rushed a man to the hospital after a shooting happened Wednesday night in Hickory Hill.
The Memphis Police Department responded to a shooting call May 8, 2024, just before 11 p.m. at the Poplar Avenue and Ridgeway Road intersection in East Memphis. There, officers found a man seriously injured.
He was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition.
Investigators said the shooting occurred in the area of Ridgeway Road and Knight Arnold Road.
