MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATE 7/13/2021 - Memphis Police say 31-year-old Michael Robinson has been arrested and charged with shooting and killing his girlfriend's son.
Robinson is charged with first degree murder and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the police affidavit, officers responded to the shooting in the 800 block of Randle about 2:15 Monday morning. The victim's mother said her son Zaqune Harris got into an argument with Robinson. According to the affidavit, the mother said Robinson went back to his car, grabbed a shotgun, and shot her son once in the chest.
Police said in the report that Robinson admitted to shooting Harris at the scene, and the admission was caught on police body cameras.

7/12/2021 - A man is dead after an early morning shooting in North Memphis.
Memphis police say officers responded to the shooting in the 800 block of Randle just before 2:30 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the shooting happened during an argument.
No arrests have been made at this time.
