MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting happened early Wednesday morning at a motel on Lamar Avenue.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Jan. 17 shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of Lamar Avenue at the Southeast Motel, where officers found one man seriously hurt.
He was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition and later died.
Police said the suspect was wearing a red hoodie.
