WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — A man is dead, and another is injured in a shooting that happened in West Memphis on Sunday.
The West Memphis Police Department received calls about two men getting shot in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue around 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2024. When officers arrived, they found one man unresponsive on the street and a second man with an apparent gunshot wound in his leg.
The first man was pronounced dead while the other was taken to the hospital.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
