MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Castalia Heights, according to Memphis Police.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to the shooting just after 7:30 p.m. at 1800 Castalia St. There, officers found a man injured, and he was taken to Regional One in critical condition, officials said.
Investigators said the man later died at the hospital.
MPD said a man was detained in the incident. Later, however, they said they have no suspect information.
