MEMPHIS, Tenn — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) has released pictures of a suspect in a deadly shooting at a Frayser Apartment complex in mid-October.
MPD officers responded shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at the Ridgecrest Apartments in the 2600 block of Woodcliff Dr.
They found the victim, identified as Jacob Simpson, dead at the scene.
Investigators said surveillance showed a man in a black hoodie with white lettering and black pants with a yellow stripe down the side running north through the apartments.
