MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting took place in Oakville on Thursday, June 6.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Getwell and American Way, where officers found a man suffering from what looked like a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition, investigators said.
The man later died, according to MPD.
Police said they detained three people on the scene.
ABC24 crews on scene confirmed the shooting took place at an Exxon gas station.
